The Ozark School District will be open for regular classes on Thursday, February 20. There are some limited bus routes that will not pick up at the following locations AM/PM. Students on the affected routes will be excused.

Route D - Barnes Road north of the fire department, Low Gap Road
Route H - Upper Jethro Road, Rolling Hills, Westview Road

Route L - Manitou Mountain Road

Due to widespread forecasts of approaching winter weather, the Ozark School District will be closed on February 18, 2025. Given the uncertainty surrounding the timing and impact of the storm, including potential road hazards and varying bus route lengths and conditions, OSD is announcing this closure in advance to allow families time to make necessary arrangements. Financial advisor Holly McCormick from Edward Jones in Ozark spoke to Ozark High School Economics students about many aspects of investing, finances, stocks, and economics on February 13th. Students learned about saving and investing in their financial futures. Students asked many questions about economics and finance, with Mrs. McCormick helping students understand many important economic topics. On February 6th, Ozark High School Stock Market Club and concurrent history students traveled to Little Rock, visiting the MacArthur Museum of Military History thanks to the Helen T. Leigh Field Trip grant, and visiting the State Capitol Building; at the Capitol they watched Congress in session from the gallery, met Representative John Eubanks and Franklin County Judge Rickey Bowman, met with Secretary of State Cole Jester, and learned about state history. Students are pictured at the MacArthur Museum, at the Capitol with Representative Eubanks and Judge Bowman, and at the Capitol with Secretary of State Jester.
The 4A-4 Conference Tournament @ Ozark will begin on Monday, February 17 at 4pm. This change is due to the forecasted inclement weather and potential for travel issues on Tuesday. The Women's bracket is attached, the Men's bracket will be set tonight after the last regular season game. The Lady Hillbillies will play Clarksville Monday at 4pm. Go Hillbillies! #HPRD
