On April 10th, Ozark High School students Adelynn Woolsey and Tucker Jack Shaw met with US Senator John Boozman at the Little Rock State Capitol Building as part of Senator Boozman's 2025-2026 Youth Cabinet. Adelynn presented about livestock disease prevention, and Tucker Jack presented about financial literacy. The Youth Cabinet is described as helping students to "explore legislative solutions to issues that interest them and meet peers who share their enthusiasm for civic engagement and the democratic process".

On April 6, 2026, members of Ozark High School's Stock Market Club read books about economics and finance to Ozark third graders as part of the "Teen Teach-In", where high school students teach younger grades about important financial concepts. April is National Financial Literacy Month, which made it a great time for teaching these concepts. Pictured are some of the students who participated in this event.

Ozark High School students (pictured left to right) Ryleigh Battles, Sara Abulawi, and RJ Sisson placed third at the Arkansas Economics Challenge at UCA on March 13th, in the David Ricardo Division. The students gave an economics presentation to judges and took a test over financial questions to receive this honor. The students received a monetary prize, medals, and a school banner. Way to go!

On March 3rd, Ozark High School students competed at UAFS in National History Day (NHD) Regionals. Winning top honors were, left to right: Cooper Perrin and Livia Clauson, 3rd place group documentary; Braelyn King and Ruby Whitlock, 1st place group website; Gabriela Lopez, 3rd place individual exhibit. These students will compete at NHD State at UCA in April with their history research projects.
