Yesterday, OHS students who are interested in careers in education attended Education Day at University of the Ozarks (U of O). Their day included break out sessions on education majors. Guest speakers included Clarksville Junior High Principal, Mrs. Brandy Cogan, and a panel of current education majors at U of O.
Students had the extra treat of hearing from OHS alumni both Class of 2021, Hallie Pledger and Tanner Russell, who participated in the education major panel are weeks away from graduating from U of O.

The Ozark School District will have limited morning and afternoon bus routes again on Friday February 21. Routes that will not pick up include Bus K - Forest Trail and Green Place Road . Bus D - Low Gap Road and Barnes Road north of the fire department. Bus B - County Road 4021 north and south of the Fire Department, Low Gap Road, Pink Twist Road. Bus L - Manitou Mountain Road. Students on these routes will be excused. Thank you and have a good evening.

🚨 10th Grade Students and Parents & Guardians of 10th Graders!!!
Due to winter weather, the deadline to turn in permission slips for the 10th grade tour of University of Arkansas Fort Smith (UAFS) has been to Monday, February 24.
Last year, more OHS seniors signed at UAFS than any other post-secondary organization. See the good things going on in Lion Country by completing and returning the permission slip linked below.

The 4A-4 Conference Tournament hosted by Ozark High School will resume on Friday, February 21 at 4pm. Updated brackets are attached - The Hillbillies play Pottsville at 7:45. Go Hillbillies! #HPRD



The Ozark School District will be open for regular classes on Thursday, February 20. There are some limited bus routes that will not pick up at the following locations AM/PM. Students on the affected routes will be excused.

Route D - Barnes Road north of the fire department, Low Gap Road
Route H - Upper Jethro Road, Rolling Hills, Westview Road

The Ozark School District will be closed on Wednesday February 19, 2025, due to inclement weather and dangerous travel conditions. Stay safe and warm!

Due to widespread forecasts of approaching winter weather, the Ozark School District will be closed on February 18, 2025. Given the uncertainty surrounding the timing and impact of the storm, including potential road hazards and varying bus route lengths and conditions, OSD is announcing this closure in advance to allow families time to make necessary arrangements.
