Ozark High School

Ozark High School juniors Tucker Jack Shaw and Adelynn Woolsey were selected for Senator John Boozman's 2025-2026 Congressional Youth Cabinet. On October 16th, Tucker Jack and Adelynn traveled to Little Rock's Old State House Museum to meet fellow Youth Cabinet members from across the state to consider significant legislative issues. As part of their Cabinet experience, their group will research, interview stakeholders, and draft a proposal for a legislative solution for that issue to present to the Senator in the spring. Congratulations to these OHS students!

The Ozark Drama Club presents the Fall production, "This Murder Was Staged" by Patrick Greene and Jason Pizzarello.

It's a comedic murder mystery where a high school play turns into a real-life whodunnit!

On Friday, OHS students participated in College & Career Dress Up Day in celebration of Arkansas Applied Campaign (AAC). During AAC, OHS seniors will apply for employment, enlistment, and enrollment.

On October 2nd, Ozark High School held its student voter registration drive where students could register to vote, in coordination with The Civics Center and the Franklin County Courthouse. OHS faculty share reason to apply for employment, enlistment, or enrollment.

OHS seniors were on the road today for the College Planning Program hosted by Arkansas Tech University. Excellent questions were asked and answered, and they learned how to #WolvesUp with Arkansas State University and #EatEmUp with the University of Arkansas at Monticello Boll Weevils.

Students had the opportunity to connect with 59 universities, colleges, and military branches.

On their way out, they had a quick visit and picture with Jerrica White, OHS Class of 2025, a freshman at Arkansas Tech University.

Hillbilly futures look bright!

OHS juniors and seniors had the opportunity to visit with Jeremiah Humphrey from United Welding Institute during advisory today. We love to see Hillbillies preparing for employment, enlistment, and enrollment after high school!
