Congratulations to OHS senior, Olivia Hays! Her forged metal sculpture, "Spoon," was accepted into the 6th Annual Arkansas High School Art Competition at Historic Cane Hill. This is was a juried exhibition. Over 100 students applied and only less than 30% were accepted. We are so proud of Olivia for having the initiative and courage to put her work out there for public viewing.
The exhibition runs through January 18, 2025. You can view it in person at the Historic Cane Hill Art Gallery, open Thursdays-Saturdays 10AM-2PM or by appointment. The gallery will be closed the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Fall Sports Senior Night - Ceremony 6:30. Go Hillbillies! #HPRD

Ozark High School students (from left to right) Peyton Blase, Sydnie Herriage, and David Culver were selected for Senator John Boozman's 2025-2025 Congressional Youth Cabinet. These three students traveled to Little Rock on October 29th to meet with Senator Boozman and other Youth Cabinet members from across the state to consider and discuss legislative issues. Senator Boozman's Congressional Youth Cabinet will meet again in the spring and work throughout the school year on important issues.

🚨 Seniors & Senior Parents & Guardians 🚨
The FAFSA Night I originally scheduled for tonight has been moved to Tuesday, December 3 since Federal Student Aid moved the opening of the 2024-2026 FAFSA to December 1.
To prepare for FAFSA Night, seniors and their parents and guardians should create Federal Student Aid (FSA) IDs. Seniors had the opportunity to do this in class with Ms. Dean, and should check to ensure they successfully created their FSA IDs.
Again, the FSA requires a minimum of two accounts to be created for students to complete their FAFSAs.
1. FSA ID for the student.
2. FSA ID for the parent or guardian.
3. Additional contributors (unmarried legal parent, stepparent, married legal parent filing taxes separately) could be identified in the application process and will need their own FSA ID.
Please mark your calendar for FAFSA Night I. FAFSA Night II will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, March 11.
For more information, contact Ms. Dean at melanie.dean@ozarkhillbillies.org.
