We could not be prouder of Brooklyn Burcham, OHS senior, for enlisting in the Arkansas Army National Guard! After graduating from OHS, Brooklyn will attend Basic Military Training and start college.

The Army National Guard is a unique part-time military force with a powerful dual mission—protecting communities at home and supporting the nation when called upon.

FAFSA Night III is tomorrow, March 19!

FAFSA Night is THE opportunity for students and their parents or guardians to complete FAFSAs with expert help.

This is a bring-your-own-device event. Please locate and make plans to bring your 2024 taxes.

Last year, the maximum for the major grant offered from the FAFSA — the Pell Grant — was $7,395.

FAFSA Night III 2 pm- 7 pm Thursday, March 19 at the OHS Library. Students parents and guardians done.

Ozark High School students (pictured left to right) Ryleigh Battles, Sara Abulawi, and RJ Sisson placed third at the Arkansas Economics Challenge at UCA on March 13th, in the David Ricardo Division. The students gave an economics presentation to judges and took a test over financial questions to receive this honor. The students received a monetary prize, medals, and a school banner. Way to go!

On March 3rd, Ozark High School students competed at UAFS in National History Day (NHD) Regionals. Winning top honors were, left to right: Cooper Perrin and Livia Clauson, 3rd place group documentary; Braelyn King and Ruby Whitlock, 1st place group website; Gabriela Lopez, 3rd place individual exhibit. These students will compete at NHD State at UCA in April with their history research projects.

Concurrent credit history students have been Zooming with the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia throughout the school year, learning about numerous historical topics. Their latest experience was with the National Constitution Center's "Decoding the Document" on February 18th, where they learned more about the Declaration of Independence. We could not be prouder of Erika Jones, OHS junior, for enlisting in the Arkansas Army National Guard! Erika will attend basic training this summer and return to OHS for her senior year.
