Ozark School District: Last night on October 3, 2024, a report was submitted through our anonymous reporting app of a potential threat involving Ozark Junior High School. Local law enforcement and District SRO's were notified and investigated the report. At this time, we do not have any reason to believe there is a legitimate threat to the campus. Additionally, due to national news about threats to schools circulating on media outlets and social media, we are taking extra precautions. We appreciate our partnership with local law enforcement and our families as we focus on the safety and well-being of all of our students. We encourage you to speak to your children about the seriousness and consequences of making threats, even in jest. Threats of any kind, whether credible or not, can cause significant disruption within our schools and community. It is vital that our students understand the gravity of these actions. The safety of our staff and students remains a top priority at Ozark School District..
