The Ozark School District is excited to welcome Head Football Coach Josh Watson and his family! Coach Watson led the 3A Salem Greyhounds to the 2024 State Championship this season and is the winningest coach in program history. Josh Watson was named 2024 Hooten's Farm Bureau 3A Coach of the Year, the Arkansas High School Coach's Association Coach of the Year, Head Coach for the East Football All-Star Team, and the Arkansas Sports Network Coach of the Year. As an assistant and head coach at Salem High School and as an assistant coach in Hoover, AL, Coach Watson has experienced working with some of the best coaching staffs in the nation. Coach Watson extends his absolute excitement for the opportunity to lead the Hillbillies and be a part of the Ozark community. Go Hillbillies! #HPRD

Ozark High School student Ava McCartney and teacher Jessica Culver were selected to participate in the national Civics Learning Week Featured Conversation with Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. This virtual event will be viewable on March 14th through the events page of Civic Learning Week at https://civiclearningweek.org/. Ava and Mrs. Culver, along with selected students and teachers from across the country, will be speaking with Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor during this virtual event, as their question was selected to be included in this educational program. Ava and Mrs. Culver are honored to be selected for this and speak with a Supreme Court Justice.
On March 3rd, Bank OZK representatives spoke to Ozark High School Economics students about many aspects of banking and finance. Pictured are some of the students who participated in this presentation, along with guest speakers Chad Molton, Eddie Melton, and Michelle Daily from Bank OZK.

The Ozark School District will have limited morning and afternoon bus routes again on Friday February 21. Routes that will not pick up include Bus K - Forest Trail and Green Place Road . Bus D - Low Gap Road and Barnes Road north of the fire department. Bus B - County Road 4021 north and south of the Fire Department, Low Gap Road, Pink Twist Road. Bus L - Manitou Mountain Road. Students on these routes will be excused. Thank you and have a good evening.
