Have you noticed the knee-deep grass on our school campuses?
No, and you likely will not.
We'd like to take a moment to give a yell about our groundskeepers. Mr. Danny and Mr. Jason take pride in the work they do. Mr. Danny maintains the Altus campus while Mr. Jason watches over the Junior High and High School campus. Jordan, Gavin, Dalebert, & Brayson are among those from the Griffith Lawncare crew that also do very well to maintain the elementary sites and the stadium.

Custodian Appreciation Day! Thank you!

Last night the Hillbillies took their 2023 show to the next level. Their hard work, dedication, and perseverance showed up and showed out earning a new title: Iron Horse Classic Grand Champions!!!
The band made a first division rating and the percussion section earned the title of Most Outstanding Percussion for the competition!!!
The group not only brought joyful music, but also brought the entire stadium to their feet when they were able to wrap the stadium with “the wave”! Go Band!
It’s always a great day to be a Hillbilly when you’re learning, growing, and making memories of a lifetime! #HPRD

Ozark SD is proud to recognize E.B. Milton Primary (Kindergarten Center & Primary) for being recognized as a 2023 School on the Move Toward Excellence. The Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) reported that Ozark is 1 of 13 elementary schools in the state recognized for improving weighted achievement scores by 10 or more points. This contributes to the indicated "A" the school received for the elementary report card for last school year. DESE will implement new testing formats this year that should establish results closely aligned to the standards and essential skills we teach. Pictured are current staff at the Kindergarten and Primary School.

October is Economic Education Month, today the Ozark High School Stock Market Club students read books to 3rd grade about economics; this was also done as part of JumpStart's nationwide Teen Teach-In event, where teenagers teach younger grades about financial topics.

Have you noticed how well-kept the schools are at Ozark SD?
We'd like to take a moment to give a yell about Mrs. Tina, Mr. Dillan, and Mrs. Christina for keeping the Ozark Primary School in tip-top shape! This is just one of the crews that work so well to keep our learning environments clean and safe for our students and staff.
