Arkansas ACTE (Arkansas Career and Technical Education) Excellence Award - ACTE Counseling & Career Development Professional Award—This award recognizes career development professionals who have demonstrated commitment to mentoring new teachers and connecting students with opportunities for success, shown innovation in career exploration and development, and have advocated for CTE as a viable option for all new teachers and students. Mrs. Estep was also elected to the ARKANSAS AATFCS (Arkansas Affiliate of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences) Board and will serve as the bylaws chair.

Fill the Bus
The Ozark School District partnered with Fort Smith Area United Way, Ozark Walmart, and Bright Futures Ozark to FILL THE BUS. Volunteers worked from 9am to 4pm on Friday July 25th and from 8a to noon on Saturday the 26th. Ozark SD staff members and students as well as Bright Futures Advisory Board members volunteered throughout these times to inventory and fill the bus with school supplies. Many shoppers donated a total of 2,299 packaged items and $966 in funds that will benefit students of all ages.
Ozark SD is appreciative of all the community support to help make this event a huge success for the children and the approaching school year.
